I paint portraits and moments that memorialize precious memories like weddings, engagements or a beautiful day at the beach with family. I absolutely love portraits of strong, inspiring women. From Brittany Murphy, Juno Temple and Nicole Richie who've always ignited an artistic, creative spark in their work, to a random but beautiful, strong face I saw in an earring ad, I love extracting the beauty from portrait images to my interpretation -- whimsical, bright, exaggerated, with an appreciation for femininity.
